Macro Computek

Macro Computek is located on Yelahanka Hospital Road, not too far from the Ayyappaswamy Temple. It is a pretty easy place to find if you are living in this neighborhood. We spend most of our days surrounded by computer parts, loose cables, and glowing screens. Our shop is not one of those shiny retail stores you see in the big city malls. It is a bit more cluttered than that, with old towers and spare keyboards tucked into the corners on the shelves. We are usually busy fixing things or setting up systems for people who live nearby. It involves a lot of sitting under bright lights and looking at very small screws. Sometimes we get a problem that takes us all afternoon to figure out, and other times it is just something quick like a software update. We don't have a formal script for when people walk in; we just ask what is wrong with their machine and see if we can get it working again. The temple nearby brings a lot of people to the area, so it is rarely completely quiet outside our window. We like being in Yelahanka. It feels like a real community where people know where to go when their technology starts acting up. We are not trying to sell anyone things they don't actually need. We just enjoy the work of putting things back together properly.
