M I Systems

M I Systems is located over at 8 Bommanahalli 4th A Main Road. We are specifically on the 5th Cross. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with wires, old monitors, and computer parts scattered around the place. I try to keep it clean, but when you are working on three things at once, the tools tend to stay out on the bench. People from the neighborhood bring in their machines when things stop working. Sometimes it's a quick fix, other times I have to order parts and it takes a week. It’s just me and one other guy here most days. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings while I'm soldering something, I might not pick up right away. The street outside is pretty narrow, so don't bring a big car if you can help it. We have been in Bommanahalli for quite a while now. I know most of the shop owners on this block. We eat lunch at the small canteen around the corner. We aren't some big tech firm with a glass building. It’s just a ground-floor room with some shelves and a lot of screwdrivers. I enjoy the work because every day is a different problem to solve. We just do our best to get the systems running again for everyone who walks through the door. It’s a quiet life but we keep busy enough.
