Lufthansa Flight Catering Bengaluru Int Airport

We are located over at Aiwan-E-Shahi Road in Gulbarga. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because the name mentions the Bengaluru International Airport, but our daily work happens right here in this part of Karnataka. I work out of the office near Khaja Moinuddin’s place, at 1-112/2D. It’s a regular building in a neighborhood that’s mostly residential and small shops. We deal with the catering side of things, so there’s a lot of talk about food and schedules and delivery times. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people back in Bangalore or checking the lists for what needs to be on the flights. It’s a lot of numbers and logistics, really. The office isn't very big. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets that are getting pretty full. Gulbarga gets really hot in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are working. It’s a lot of quiet work, just sitting and making sure the data is right. We don't have any fancy signs outside. If you didn't know we were here, you might just walk right past the door. We usually bring our own lunch and eat together at the big table in the back. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us here, making sure things are ready for the airport needs. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy enough.
