Our place is over at Nethravati Nilayam on 19th Cross E in Kaggadaspura. If you know Bangalore, you know how the traffic can be around C.V. Raman Nagar. We’re right in the middle of all that. This isn't a fancy restaurant where people sit down for a meal with candles. It’s more of a big production spot. We handle a lot of the food that goes out for the planes. It’s a 24-hour kind of job because flights don’t really stop. The building itself is busy from early morning until very late. You’ll see trucks coming in and out all the time. Most of us here just focus on getting the trays ready and making sure everything is packed right. It’s a lot of physical work and standing around in the kitchen areas. Kaggadaspura has changed a lot over the years, getting more crowded every day. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while now. Some of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or take a short rickshaw ride. It’s not always quiet, and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there’s a rush, but we manage. We don’t really spend time on fancy decorations or anything. The focus is just on the food and the logistics. It’s a practical place, and we just try to keep things moving as fast as the airport requires us to. We have a lot of metal tables and big refrigerators that hum all day long.
