Louroades Stores

Louroades Stores is located at 42/2 in Ulsoor. If you know the Ulsoor area, you know it’s got a lot of history and the streets can be quite narrow and winding. We’ve been sitting here at this address for a long time, watching the neighborhood change around us. The shop itself is just a regular local store where we keep a bit of everything. We aren't trying to be a supermarket or anything huge. It’s just us, some shelves, and a lot of familiar faces. Every morning we sweep the front step and get things ready for the first few customers who come in for their daily supplies. The bells from the nearby temples can be heard in the mornings, which is a nice way to start the day. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here at 42/2 for so long that everyone knows who we are. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s slow and just watch the traffic go by. It’s a quiet life for the most part, though it gets hectic during the festivals when everyone is out shopping. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don't need much more than a steady stream of work and a bit of conversation with the people who live nearby. It’s just a neighborhood shop and we’re happy with that.
