Our spot is on the 6th floor of Tower G at Godrej Avenues, which is out in the Doddaballapur area of Bengaluru. Being up at G-601 gives us a pretty wide view of the surroundings, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us to get out here, but the air feels a little different than it does in the middle of the city. The apartment complex is quite large, so we often see people walking their dogs or kids playing near the towers when we arrive in the morning. Inside the office, we’ve kept things pretty basic. We have our workstations lined up, and the kitchen is always stocked with plenty of tea bags. It’s a quiet place to work, which we find helpful for getting through the day’s tasks. Sometimes we forget to turn the lights off in the back room, and the security guard has to remind us. The Doddaballapur road can get a bit congested with trucks, but once you’re inside the gates of the city complex, it’s quite peaceful. We’ve got a small shelf with some old manuals and books that nobody really looks at anymore. It’s just a standard apartment that we’ve turned into our workspace. It works well for us, providing a steady place to come and focus on what we need to do.
