Lionel India Ltd, A K K Birla Group Company

Our office is at No.62A, Kowdenahalli, Sir.M.V.Nagar in the Ramamurthy area of Bangalore. Lionel India Ltd, which is part of the A K K Birla Group, has its home here. It’s a typical Bangalore neighborhood where you see a mix of houses and small businesses all jumbled together. The office is pretty straightforward. We have rows of desks with computers and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably fuller than they should be. The commute for most of us involves fighting the Bangalore traffic, so we usually arrive a bit tired, but once the coffee is made, we get into it. It’s a big company name, but this specific office feels quite small and personal. We don't have a fancy cafeteria, so most people bring their lunch from home and eat together in the break room. The building is older and the walls are a simple off-white color. We have a few windows that look out onto the street, where you can see the local life going by. Sometimes the internet acts up or the water cooler runs dry, and we just deal with it like anyone else would. We aren't here to make a big show of things or pretend the office is something it isn't. We just handle the business side of things, keep the records straight, and make sure the paperwork gets sent to the right people. It’s a plain, functional space where we spend our eight hours and then head back into the traffic.
