You can find Lion Tours & Travels at 202 Basaveshwara Nagar. We are situated right near the BMTC Bus Stand, which is convenient for people coming in. It’s a busy corner with buses moving in and out all day long. Our office isn't very large, but it serves its purpose. We spend our time booking tickets and planning routes for people who want to travel. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen the area change quite a bit. The noise from the bus stand is something you get used to after a week or two. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the basic computers and a lot of phone calls. Sometimes the printers act up or the internet goes slow, but we manage to get things done eventually. We aren't a big corporate travel group. We’re just local people who know how to get you from one place to another. People stop by on their way to the bus stand to ask about prices or schedules. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a slick sales pitch. We just tell people what’s available and help them book it. It's a bit cluttered inside with all the files and calendars, but we know where everything is. We stay open pretty late most days because that’s when people are moving around the station. It’s just the two of us here usually.
