Legal Law Chambers

Our office, Legal Law Chambers, is tucked away at 135/3 on the Malleshwaram Pipeline Road. We are right at the 11th Cross, which is a very familiar landmark for anyone who lives in this part of the city. The office is not a modern, glass-walled suite. Instead, it is a cramped space filled with ceiling-high shelves of law books and legal folders. We have been practicing here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it has a very solid feel to it. There are three of us who work here, and we usually have a few clerks scurrying around with bundles of files tied in red ribbon. We spend a lot of our time at the local courts, so the office can be empty during the middle of the day. When we are here, it’s a constant stream of people coming in with their problems. We don't use much fancy language; we just try to explain things in a way that makes sense. The Pipeline Road is always busy with pedestrians and bikers, so there is a lot of noise coming through the windows. We usually have a big pot of coffee going for anyone who stops by. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is on getting the paperwork right and making sure our clients understand their situation. We’ve grown fond of the creaky floorboards and the way the light hits the desks in the late afternoon while we finish up.
