Down here on Airport Road in Kodihalli, things are always moving. Most people see the name Leela Palace and think of something really polished, but for those of us working here every day, it's just the place where we spend most of our waking hours. The building stands out, sure, but the real story is in the back hallways and the kitchens where things actually happen. We’ve been part of this Bangalore landscape for a long time. I remember when this whole stretch of road looked completely different, before all the new offices went up. Now, it’s all about managing the noise from the traffic and making sure the gates are clear. We have people coming in from all over, some tired from long flights and others just here for a quick meeting. We don't really have a script for how we talk to people; we just try to be helpful. If someone needs a direction or a bit of water, we sort it out. It gets busy, especially when there’s an event, and sometimes we’re all running around a bit tired. But we like the routine of it. The gardens need watering, the floors need a mop, and the phones never really stop ringing. It’s just how it is in a big place like this. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smooth in the middle of all the Kodihalli chaos.
