This is Leela Palace, Bangalore, but we are actually working out of Guntur right now. The address is D.No-4-1-35/1 on Radhakrishna Vaari Veedhi, which is in the 4th Lane of Lakshmipuram. I am Padmavathi’s daughter, and we handle the local side of things from this house in Andhra Pradesh. It is a residential area, so it is much quieter than a big hotel would be. We have a small room set aside for the work. There are a lot of papers and some folders about the Bangalore property. It feels a bit strange being so far away from the actual palace, but we manage. My mother has lived here for a long time, and everyone in Lakshmipuram knows the house. We do not have a big sign outside. It is just a normal home where we take care of the business that needs doing. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up because the address is quite long. We spend the day on calls and writing down notes. The weather here in Guntur can be very hot, so we usually work with the windows open to catch a breeze. It is a very simple operation. We do not have a big staff or a front desk, just us taking care of whatever comes our way. It is practical and it works for what we need to do right now. We just keep up with the daily tasks as they come.
