Leather Craft & Apparel

Leather Craft & Apparel is tucked away on the first floor of the Munichikkamma Building. We are located at No.186 in the 4th Block of Peenya, right off Tumkur Road. If you know Peenya, you know it’s a massive industrial hub with noise and movement everywhere. Our floor is always buzzing with the constant sound of sewing machines and people talking over the noise. It can get pretty loud when everyone is working at once to finish a batch. We make various types of clothing and items, mostly focusing on using leather materials. It’s a lot of manual work, cutting and stitching by hand or with old industrial machines that we've had for years. We aren't a big factory; we’re more of a large workshop. The light comes in through the big windows in the morning, which is easily the best time to work. By the afternoon, it gets a bit stuffy and warm, but we keep going until the shift ends. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk up the stairs and you’re right in the middle of where everything happens. We have rolls of material leaning against the walls and scraps of leather on the floor. It’s a real working environment. The people here have been doing this for years, and they know the craft well. We just focus on making things that are sturdy and look alright. We don't spend money on ads. People find us when they need work done.
