Le Meridien Bangalore

We’re located in Bangalore. It’s a big city and things move pretty fast around here. Our place, Le Meridien, is one of those spots that people know once they get into the city. It’s a tall building with a lot of windows. I’ve worked here for a few years now, mostly helping out with whatever needs doing. We have a big area for people to sit when they arrive. The carpets are a bit old in some spots, but we keep them clean. Bangalore weather is usually nice, so we don't always need the heavy cooling on, but we have it just in case. There’s a lot of movement every day. Suitcases rolling across the floor, people asking for directions, and the kitchen staff rushing around. It gets pretty hectic during the mornings when everyone is trying to leave at the same time. We have rooms on all the different floors. Some look out over the trees and others look at the neighboring buildings. I spend a lot of time checking the hallways. Sometimes a bulb goes out and I have to call the maintenance guy to come over with his ladder. It’s a big operation, but at the end of the day, it’s just a place for people to sleep while they’re away from home. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a hotel in the middle of a busy city. We see all kinds of people coming through these doors.
