Le Merdien

Our location for Le Merdien is at No 305 on the 5th Cross in R.R Layout, which is part of the Vijinapura area near Doorvaninagar Post. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the neighborhood is pretty calm most of the time. You’ll see the name on the building, but it’s not a flashy setup. It’s just a standard building where we have our rooms. The 5th Cross can get a little crowded with parked cars, but we usually manage to find a spot. Inside, the space is simple. We have a few desks, some chairs that we’ve had for a few years, and a lot of paper stacked up on the shelves. The light comes in quite nicely in the mornings, which helps us get started. We don’t have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular kettle and some jars in the corner. It’s a very grounded place to work. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like the vegetable seller or the local dogs, which makes it feel real. We aren't tucked away in some sterile office park. We’re right here in the middle of a living area. It’s got a bit of dust on the windows and the floor isn't perfectly polished, but it’s where we do our thing every day. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep things moving along until it is time to close up.
