Laxminarayan Advocate

The office of Laxminarayan Advocate is located at 305 Gandhi Nagar. We are up on the 3rd floor of the building. Gandhi Nagar is a pretty crowded area, so finding a parking spot can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes, but once you get inside and head up, it’s a lot more peaceful. The office is basically lined with bookshelves from floor to ceiling. There are so many legal books and old case files that it’s hard to find a bare patch of wall. It’s got that old paper smell which I’ve grown to quite like over the years. We have a few desks where we do all the reading and writing. The furniture is heavy and dark, the kind that lasts forever. We don’t have a flashy reception area or anything. If you come in, you usually just walk right into the workspace. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it does the job during the hotter months. Most of our day is spent going through documents or preparing for court. It’s quiet work, and we don’t have many distractions up here on the third floor. The windows are usually shut to keep the dust from the street out. We’ve been at this address for a long time and everyone in the building knows us. It’s a very straightforward place for legal work, and we don’t try to make it look like something it’s not for anyone.
