Lawand

We are a small group called Lawand based right here in Bangalore. We don't have a big, flashy headquarters, just a workspace where we get our daily tasks done. Being in this city means dealing with a lot of noise and movement, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our team is pretty tight-knit. We’ve worked together for a long time and we know how everyone likes their tea or coffee. The work we do isn't always exciting—there is a lot of paperwork and technical stuff involved—but it’s important to us to do it right. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there. We just want to do our work correctly for the people who come to us. On a typical day, you’ll find us hunched over our laptops or taking calls. Sometimes we have lunch together at the desk, especially when things get hectic. We don't follow a strict corporate dress code or anything like that. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we take the actual work seriously. Living in Bangalore, you learn to be patient with the traffic and the weather. We bring that same patience to our work. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep things moving without making a big production out of it. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it works for us and the people we see. We hope to stay here for many more years in this part of India.
