I’m Latha S and my workplace is at 2 Malleshwaram Vinayaka Circle, right in the Palace Guttahalli area. I’m up on the 2nd floor of the Hampala Building. Malleshwaram is always buzzing, especially around the circle. You can hear the buses and the honking from the street even when the windows are shut, but you eventually stop noticing it. The Hampala Building has been around for a while, and climbing those stairs to the second floor is my daily exercise. It’s a busy building with different people coming and going all the time. My space is small but it fits everything I need. I usually have a few piles of papers on my desk that I’m working through. People find me through word of mouth mostly, or because they saw the name plate while walking by Vinayaka Circle. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find polished marble or fancy carpets. It’s just a practical office with some old wooden chairs and a ceiling fan that’s been there since I moved in. I like the energy of Palace Guttahalli. There’s always somewhere nearby to get a quick snack or a tea when I need a break from the screen. Working here keeps me connected to the local life, and I wouldn't really want to be anywhere else right now. It’s just a regular daily grind, making sure everything is filed and recorded as it should be.
