Finding us at Larsen Toubro Ltd in Bangalore can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't familiar with BTM Layout. We are over at N S Palya, specifically 2nd Stage. The address says 16th Cross and 6th Main, No 1. It is a busy corner. The traffic in Bangalore is as bad as everyone says, so getting to the office at 6th Main takes longer than it should. The building is tucked away near some other houses and small shops. It belongs to the W/O Ishwar Bhat. K. It feels more like a home than a big office building, which is actually kind of nice. We have a few rooms where we keep all our equipment and files. Larsen Toubro Ltd has a lot going on in the city, but this spot is where we handle our specific part of the work. You can hear the motorbikes zooming past the window all day. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard we can't hear ourselves talk, but that is just Bangalore for you. We don't really do the whole corporate culture thing here. We just come in, drink some coffee, and get to work. Most of us have been working in BTM Layout for years. It’s a tight space but we make it work. There is a small tea shop around the corner where we usually take our breaks. It’s just a regular workplace for regular people doing their jobs without any unnecessary polish or fancy titles.
