Our Bangalore office is located at No 38 Cubbon Road. We’ve been here for a long time—our mailing address is P O Box 5098. If you know Bangalore, you know Cubbon Road is right in the heart of things. It can get pretty loud with the traffic outside, but inside we just keep our heads down and get through the work. This is one of the older spots for Larsen Toubro Ltd in the city. It’s got that old-school office feel to it, with heavy desks and a lot of history in the walls. We don't have the fancy glass walls of the new buildings in Whitefield, but this place has character. We manage a lot of the regional coordination from this building. It’s a big space, and sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze with all the different corridors and rooms full of files. We have people coming in and out all day, mostly staff and contractors. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend money on flashy decor; we just make sure the computers work and there's enough light to see the drawings. Being on Cubbon Road means we’re close to everything, which is helpful for getting things signed and moved. It’s just where we’ve always been, and it works for us. We just keep doing our bit to make sure the engineering side of things stays on schedule every week.
