Larsen & Toubro Ltd

Larsen & Toubro Ltd has a small setup here in Indiranagar at 75/2, H Colony. It’s in the First Stage, Second Cross, which is a bit of a mouthful to explain to the delivery drivers who get lost. Simerdeep Singh Walia and Gaurav Gautam are the ones usually around here making sure things happen. Bangalore is famous for its traffic, and we definitely feel that when we’re trying to get to the office in the morning. The space is tucked away in a residential-feeling pocket, so it’s not as loud as the main commercial strips. We have a small yard out front where a few bikes are usually parked under the tree. Inside, the space is divided up simply with just enough room for us. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment, just what we need to stay productive through the week. The lighting is a bit dim in the back room, but we like it because it stays cooler there during the hot months. It’s a very local way of working, where we know the people in the neighboring houses by sight. Sometimes the rain comes down suddenly in the afternoon, and we all have to run out to make sure nothing left outside gets soaked. We spend our days mostly on the computer or chatting about the next steps for our work. It’s a grounded atmosphere, very much like the rest of the neighborhood.
