Working for Larsen & Toubro Ltd in Bangalore is definitely a busy experience. The city is always moving and there is never a quiet moment outside the office. We are situated in Karnataka, right in the middle of all that activity. It is a lot different from some of our smaller locations. Here, you hear the traffic and the horns all day long, but inside we just try to focus on the work at hand. Our office isn’t anything too special to look at, just a place with desks, computers, and a lot of files. We have a small team here and everyone knows their role. We don't really do the whole corporate speech thing. We just talk like regular people. Most of us take the bus or ride our bikes to get here, which can be a real struggle sometimes with the Bangalore traffic. Once we are in, it’s just about getting the job done. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing away. It gets quite hectic during the middle of the week, but we manage to stay on top of things. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our coffee, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. It is just a normal workplace with normal people trying to make a living and do a good job for the company. We don’t need any fancy decorations to be productive.
