Being in Bangalore means we are part of a city that never seems to slow down. Our Larsen & Toubro Ltd office here is just one of many buildings in this sprawling place. The traffic is usually the first thing everyone talks about when they get to work in the morning. It doesn't matter which part of Bangalore you are coming from, it always takes longer than you think it will. Once we are inside, things settle down a bit. We are just a group of regular people trying to keep up with the pace of the city. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a polished way of talking about our work. We just deal with the projects as they come in. Some days it feels like we are just moving paperwork from one side of the desk to the other, but it all needs to be done. We drink a lot of coffee because that’s just how it is in this city. The office is functional and maybe a little bit boring if you’re looking for excitement, but it works for us. We know the local area well and have our favorite spots for a quick break. It’s not the high-tech Bangalore you see on the news all the time; it’s more about the everyday grind and getting the small things right. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen how much the city has changed around us.
