Larsen & Toubro Limited

We’re working out of the South City Housing Project in Bangalore, specifically over in Arekere near Micolayout on B.G. Road. It’s a busy part of the city, and the traffic on Bannerghatta Road is something we deal with every single day. Our office is right on the site where the project is happening. It’s a mix of temporary cabins and more permanent structures. You won’t find any marble floors here, just a lot of boots, hard hats, and blueprints. The team at Larsen & Toubro Limited here is focused on getting these buildings up. We spend more time outside on the site than we do sitting behind a desk. There’s always the sound of hammers or machines in the background. It gets quite dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of being on a construction project. We have a small area where we can sit down and go over the plans, but it’s usually pretty crowded. The people here come from all over, but we’ve become a tight group because we see each other so much. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls, just calendars and safety posters. It’s about as real as it gets. We just want to do the work correctly and move on to the next phase. Bangalore is a fast-growing city, and we’re just a small part of that growth happening right here in Arekere.
