Lapmo India

Lapmo India is over at number 22 in the HAL 2nd Stage area. It’s a pretty decent spot, though finding a place to park can be a real headache some days. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of technical manuals that haven't been opened in a while. We have a small kitchenette where the kettle is always on, though the tea is never quite as good as the shop down the road. Most of our days are spent looking at components or sitting in front of monitors trying to get the specs right. It’s quiet work for the most part, not like a noisy factory. We’ve been at this for a while and the office shows it—the carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most. We don’t really do big meetings or have those polished presentations you see on TV. We just sit down, figure out what the day’s tasks are, and get started. If someone calls, one of us just picks up the phone. There isn't a receptionist or any fancy phone system. We’ve got some plants in the corner that are barely hanging on, but they add a bit of life to the place. Being near HAL means there’s always something going on in the neighborhood. We just stay in our lane, handle the engineering work that comes our way, and try to be honest about how long things will take.
