We have been here in Koramangala Village for quite a while now. Most people know the spot at number 599. It is just a regular place where we deal with silks and fabrics. We started out small and just kept going because the work needed doing. The office isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some shelves full of material. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through the village, but that is just how it is. We spend most of our days looking at different textures and making sure the orders are packed right. It's mostly family and a few neighbors working here. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It is more about the actual cloth and getting it where it needs to go. If you walk past, you’ll see us moving boxes or checking the weave under the light. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just focus on the silk. It’s a quiet kind of work. The village has changed a lot since we opened up, but our building stays the same. People come in, ask for what they need, and we find it for them. It is pretty straightforward. We keep a ledger on the desk and try to stay organized, even when things get busy during the festival times. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
