Our company is based at No. 21 in Channanayakanapalya, specifically in the Bhavani Nagar area near Nagasandra. It’s a bit further out for some, but it’s a growing part of Bangalore. The building is easy enough to spot once you get into the lane. We don’t have a big corporate lobby; you just walk in and come up to our office. The space is functional and simple. We have our desks, some shelves for our papers, and a small corner for making tea. It’s a local operation, so everyone knows everyone else. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we don’t get many visitors anyway. Most of our day is spent at our computers. The street outside is usually busy with local traffic, and there are a few shops nearby where we pick up supplies or snacks. Nagasandra is becoming more crowded, but our specific corner in Bhavani Nagar stays relatively calm. We’ve set things up so that everyone has enough room to work comfortably without it being cramped. We don’t have any big mission statements on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a group of people working together in a regular office building. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in this city. We like it here because it feels real.
