Lakshmikantha Rao R

This office is at 106 Indira Nagar. It's an old house that we converted. I am Lakshmikantha Rao R and I've spent a large part of my life around this neighborhood. It used to be much quieter twenty years ago but now there are shops everywhere. We have a small gate that sometimes gets stuck when it rains. The inside is mostly bookshelves and desks piled with papers. I don't like those modern glass offices you see nowadays. This feels more real. My desk is right by the front window so I can see who is coming. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms where we sit and get the work done. The trees outside provide some nice shade during the summer. I usually walk to work since I live nearby. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard for people to find the exact number, but once you see the big mango tree, you’re close. There is no receptionist or anything, usually just me or my assistant answering the phone if we aren't busy with a client. We drink a lot of tea here. The floor tiles are from the seventies. It’s a very basic setup, just enough for what is needed without any extra fuss. I prefer it this way because it keeps things straightforward and honest for everyone who walks through that door.
