Lakshmi Stationery & Gifts

Lakshmi Stationery & Gifts is our shop in the Srinivas Building, at number 106. We are located right near the railway gate in Darukhana, which is part of Munekolala Village. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot near Lakdi Bunder, but we like it here. We sell all kinds of items like pens, notebooks, and various gifts for birthdays or school events. The shop often feels a bit crowded with boxes because we try to keep a lot of variety on the shelves. Children from the local schools come in all the time to get supplies for their projects. We know many of them by their names. It gets a little dusty because of the trains that pass by the gate all day, but we do our best to keep things clean. My wife helps me run the place most days. She is the one who picks out the nice gift wraps and the colorful ribbons. I handle the accounts and move the heavier stacks of paper around. We don't have a website or do any online selling. We just open up the shutters every morning and wait for people to stop by. It is a quiet kind of life for the most part. Sometimes we get a larger order for a local office, and that keeps us busy for a few days. We really like being part of the Munekolala community. It feels like home and everyone knows everyone else.
