You can find us at 565 on the 11th Cross in Mahalakshmipuram Layout. We are right there on the 4th Main of Nagapura Main Road, and people usually look for the Karnataka Bank ATM to find the entrance. Lakshmi Speciality Clinic is a local spot where neighbors come when they aren't feeling well. The building is a bit older, but it is sturdy and we keep the waiting room as tidy as possible. There are chairs lined up against the wall and a small desk where we take down names. It gets a little noisy when the traffic on Nagapura Main Road picks up in the evening. We have different rooms for consultations and the basic equipment needed for checkups. It isn’t a massive medical center, just a neighborhood clinic where we know the local shops and the people who walk their dogs past our door. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in this part of Bangalore. We see a lot of kids and elderly people from the nearby houses. The atmosphere is quiet for the most part, except for the occasional sound of a motorbike outside. It’s just a place to get seen by a doctor without having to travel across the city. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now, doing our daily work.
