Ladies Tailor

Ladies Tailor is a small shop located on 21st Main Road in Shivaji Nagar. It’s not a big place, just enough room for a few sewing machines and stacks of fabric waiting to be cut. We’ve been here for a long time, and most of the people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood. We don't have a big sign or any fancy displays in the window. Usually, you can hear the machines humming from the street before you even step inside. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and stitching. It’s hard work on the eyes and the hands, but it’s what we know how to do. There’s always scrap thread on the floor and half-finished garments hanging up. We don't have a website or any marketing; people just know we’re here by word of mouth. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a few customers come in at once, but we manage. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just take the fabric people bring us and turn it into something they can wear. It’s a simple process, though it takes a lot of patience and a steady hand. Shivaji Nagar is a lively area, and there’s always someone walking by or poking their head in to ask a question. We stay busy with the work and don't worry too much about the rest. It’s just a local tailor shop doing its thing day after day. We keep a bowl of chalk and some measuring tapes right by the front door.
