Our little travel office sits at 41518 Palace Road, and it’s a pretty busy spot most days of the week. We spend a lot of our time looking at schedules and trying to figure out the best way to get people from one place to another. The office is filled with stacks of brochures that we try to keep tidy, though they always seem to end up in a mess by Friday afternoon. Palace Road stays busy with cars and pedestrians, so there’s always something to see out the front window. We don’t have any fancy software or big screens, just a couple of computers that are a bit slow and some phones that never seem to stop ringing. Labbaik Tours & Travel is really just a few of us working together to handle bookings and paperwork. Sometimes things get a bit stressful when a flight is delayed or someone loses their documents, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve been in this location for a while, so we know most of the other shop owners on the street. It’s a simple setup with some plastic chairs for when people have to wait their turn. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going during the long shifts. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for help with their annual trips or visiting family. We don't use any big words or complicated terms, we just tell folks what’s available and help them book it.
