L G Transport

L G Transport is based at 5 Chamrajpet, right above the SBI on Anandnagar Road. It is a convenient spot for us because everyone knows where the bank is. Being in the transport business means we are always looking at schedules and talking to drivers. Our office is fairly simple with a few tables and some maps on the wall. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones trying to figure out where the trucks are. Ramdevnagar is close by, so we see a lot of movement in this area. It gets pretty dusty and loud with all the heavy vehicles passing through, but that is part of the job. We don't have a polished front office because we are usually too busy working. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we know how to handle the local routes. Sometimes a delivery gets delayed because of a breakdown or a bad road, and we just have to deal with it. We don't use any fancy logistics software, just our notebooks and experience. It is a straightforward business. We move things from one place to another. People in Chamrajpet know us as the guys who just get the job done without much fuss. We often stay late waiting for the last truck to check in for the night. That is just how the transport life is.
