L A Bamba

L A Bamba is located at 59 Main Road on Brigade Road. This is one of the busiest streets in the whole city, so there is always noise and movement outside. We have been part of this street for a long time. Our shop is a bit different from the big brand stores that have moved in lately. We sell clothes and accessories that have a bit more character to them. It’s a small space, and it can get quite warm when there are more than five people inside. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us who know the stock well. People who come to Brigade Road often just wander in because they saw something in the window. We like it that way. We don't do any big promotions or anything. The building we are in is quite old, and you can tell by the floors and the ceiling. It gives the place a bit of a personality, I think. We spend our days folding clothes and talking to tourists or local shoppers. It’s a good place to watch the world go by. Even though things are changing fast around here, we just keep doing what we've always done. It’s not about being the biggest shop, just about being here and having something people want to wear.
