Kvs

This whole thing started back in 1998 when I got my diploma in tourism from IGNOU here in New Delhi. I remember finishing with about 62%, which wasn't the top of the class, but it was enough to get things moving. Kvs has been a bit of a journey since then. We aren’t some big agency with a hundred employees. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others handling whatever comes our way. Being based in New Delhi means there’s always someone looking for a bit of help with their travel plans. Having that IGNOU background actually helped quite a bit with understanding how the industry works from the ground up. It’s been more than twenty years now, which is hard to believe when I look back at those old textbooks. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s a very practical space where we keep all our files and notes. The work isn't always exciting—there's a lot of waiting on hold and double-checking dates—but it's what we know. People come to us because we’ve been around the block a few times. We don’t use any fancy software or big slogans. It’s just about getting the details right so people can get where they’re going. It’s a small, honest living that started with that one diploma a long time ago. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
