Kumar & Kumar Advocates

We run Kumar & Kumar Advocates out of our office at F 1133 in the Central Chambers. Gandhi Nagar is a place with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of it for some time now. Our office is filled with books and files, which I guess is what you’d expect from a legal place. It’s not a shiny glass building, but it’s where we do our work. We spend most of our time reading through documents and preparing for meetings. It’s just a few of us here. We’ve known each other for years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite the nature of the work. Gandhi Nagar can be quite busy during the day with all the other offices around. We like being in Central Chambers because it’s a familiar spot for many. We don't use a lot of legal jargon when we talk to people. We prefer to explain things in plain English. People come to us with all sorts of issues. We just sit down, listen, and see what can be done. It’s not about winning every argument; it’s about finding a way forward. Sometimes we’re at the office late into the evening when there’s a lot to catch up on. We’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our window. More traffic and more noise, but our office stays pretty much the same. We just keep focusing on the cases we have. It’s a steady job and we’re glad to be doing it here.
