I spend most of my days at 14 3 Nirupathunga Road, right inside the CFC Building. It’s an interesting spot because we are directly opposite the RBI Bank, so there is always a lot of security and people moving around outside. The building itself has been around for quite a few years and you can tell by the stairs and the way the windows rattle when a heavy truck goes past. It’s not a high-rise glass building like the ones you see in the new parts of town. My office is just a simple room where I keep my records and take my meetings. I don't really have a big team helping me out, it’s mostly just me handling the day-to-day stuff. People come in with all sorts of questions and I try to help them out as honestly as I can. There isn't any fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you, usually you just walk in and see if I'm at my desk. Sometimes I'm out for lunch or running an errand at the bank across the street, so the door might be locked for twenty minutes here and there. It’s a very straightforward way of working. I don't use any complicated systems, just my notebooks and my old computer that takes a bit of time to start up in the morning. It’s a quiet life inside the office despite all the noise outside on the road.
