Our office is in the Radha Building in Malleshwaram. It’s on the second floor, number 16. If you know the area, you know Malleshwaram has that old Bangalore feel to it. The stairs in the building are a bit steep, and there isn’t an elevator, so we get our exercise every day. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of files and old law books. It smells like paper and ink. I spend a lot of time reading or typing out documents. We don't have a fancy reception area with a TV or anything. There are just some wooden chairs for people to sit on while they wait. My assistant handles the phone, which rings more than I’d like. Most of our visitors are people from the neighborhood or regular clients we’ve known for years. We handle a lot of paperwork. It’s not like the movies where there is a lot of shouting in court. Most of it is just quiet work at a desk, checking details and making sure everything is filed correctly. The windows look out over the street, and I like watching the trees and the people walking to the temple. It’s a steady pace of life. We close up in the evening and head home like everyone else. It’s a small practice, and we like keeping it manageable. No big corporate vibes here, just a lot of law books and files to deal with every morning.
