Being right across from the Srinivas Kalyan Mandap on Bannerghatta Road means we see a lot of action. There are always weddings or functions going on. You can hear the music and the crowds from my office on the first floor. This is number 2, part of that 199/181-B block in Model Colony. It is a bit of a mouthful for an address. I have been here since they put up the new signboards. The stairs are right next to the small shop on the ground floor. Inside, it is just me and the work. I try to keep things organized, but my desk usually ends up covered in notes by noon. It is a busy stretch of road. Sometimes the traffic is so backed up that I see the same bus outside my window for ten minutes. I don't mind the noise much. It makes the day go by faster. I usually grab a coffee from the place downstairs in the afternoon. The building is solid, though it could use a fresh coat of paint one of these years. Most people know me around here because I’ve stayed put while others moved away. It is a convenient spot once you figure out the layout. I just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the list. My family sometimes stops by to bring me lunch if I am too busy to go out.
