Our place is over in the Mosque Block of Mariyappan Palya. It’s No. 188/2 on the 3rd Main. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find. We’ve been here quite some time now. The building is just a normal structure, nothing that stands out from the street. We share the space with the usual sounds of the neighborhood. Work here is pretty straightforward. We come in, check the mail, and get started on whatever is on the desk. There’s a lot of paperwork usually. We aren't into big speeches or fancy titles. We just do the job. Some of us have been working together for years. We know how each other takes their coffee. It’s a small team, really. We don’t spend money on decorating the place with glass and mirrors. It’s just functional. We focus on getting things done for the day. Sometimes the rains make the street a bit messy but that’s just how it is in Bangalore. We’ve got our routine down. It’s a decent place to work. We don't aim for the stars, just for a productive afternoon. People drop by sometimes just to ask for directions or say hello. We don’t mind. It’s part of being in this part of town. We keep it honest and keep it moving. It's just a regular office.
