7 Star Garments

7 Star Garments is right there on Tc Palya Main Road, not too far from St. Anthony Church. If you are walking down the road toward the KR Puram Post, you will probably see our sign at No. 99. The shop is filled with racks of different clothes that we have to keep straightening up because people are always moving things around. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends when everyone is out shopping or coming back from the church nearby. The street noise is constant since Tc Palya is such a main route for buses and bikes. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes of new stock and trying to find space for everything on the shelves. It’s a small place, so things can get a bit cluttered if we aren’t careful. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we just keep going. I usually spend my time folding shirts or talking to people who wander in to see what is new. It’s a simple garment shop where we know a lot of the regulars who live in KR Puram. We don’t have any fancy displays, just the clothes and some mirrors. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for the afternoon rush. Dealing with the traffic on the main road is probably the hardest part of being located here, but it brings people in.
