We are based out of the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at 378 on 10th Cross in the 4th Phase. Being in an industrial area like this means there’s always something going on around us. Kotak Urja has been here for a long time. We mostly deal with solar thermal and power stuff. It’s a lot of metal and glass moving in and out of the yard. The air in Peenya is always a bit heavy with the sound of machinery, but we’re used to it. Our team is mostly engineers and guys who have been working with their hands since they were kids. We do big projects for factories around here, but we also handle smaller things when someone asks. It’s a practical kind of business. We don't have fancy carpets or a coffee machine that does lattes. We have a kettle and some old chairs. We spend a lot of time checking specs and making sure the welding is solid on the frames. Solar is tough because it’s sitting out in the weather all day, every day. It has to be built to last. We’ve seen companies come and go in the 4th Phase, but we just keep showing up and doing the work. If you’re coming to see us, just look for the gate near 10th Cross. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. It's a loud place to work, but it suits us just fine.
