Kohinoor Hospital

This hospital is on Ardeshir Dady Street in Shanthi Nagar, right at number 2. It is an older building, but we do our best to keep everything as clean and tidy as possible for the patients. There is always someone sitting at the front desk, although they might be busy on the phone or talking to someone who just walked in. We have various doctors coming in and out at different times of the day. It is not one of those massive hospitals with glass walls and expensive art. It is just a local place where people come when they are feeling unwell or need a checkup. The hallways are a little bit narrow, and it can get quite crowded in the mornings when several people show up at the same time. We have basic rooms for patients who need to stay overnight. Standard beds are provided, and while we try to keep things quiet, the busy street right outside makes that a challenge. You can hear the sounds of the traffic from Ardeshir Dady Street throughout the day. We have been part of this Shanthi Nagar neighborhood for a long time now. Because most staff live nearby, they recognize many of the local people who come in. It is a lot of hard work, and the shifts can be very long. This is a practical place for medical needs. People come here because it is close and they know us. We just do our jobs.
