We are way up on the 17th floor of the BB block in Salarpuria Greenage. It’s a big complex in Bommanahalli on Hosur Road. Being so high up, the view is actually pretty decent, though we’re usually too busy looking at our monitors to notice. The Oxford College is right there as a landmark, which helps when we’re telling people how to find us. The traffic on Hosur Road is a nightmare, so we’ve all learned the best times to arrive and leave to avoid the worst of it. The office is really just a flat that’s been turned into a workspace. It’s got a kitchen area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon. It feels more like a home than a corporate building, which makes it a bit more comfortable for long days. There are cables everywhere and sometimes the internet acts up, but we deal with it. We spend our hours coding or talking through project details. It’s not a loud place; mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and the hum of the air conditioning. We’re just a small team trying to get things done right. It’s a practical space for us to work without a lot of unnecessary distractions. We have a few cupboards for our supplies and a big table where we sometimes sit for group discussions.
