Kkrishi

Jayanagar is a nice place to have a shop. We are located right in the heart of the neighborhood where people actually walk around and talk to each other. When we first started Kkrishi, we weren't really sure how it would go, but it’s been a steady journey so far. We deal with stuff coming in from the farms and try to get it sorted out for the locals. It gets a bit messy sometimes when the trucks arrive late or the weather isn't helping, but that’s just part of the work. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. Most of our day is spent checking bags, talking to suppliers, and making sure the shelves aren't empty when someone walks in. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need. My cousin helps out on the weekends when things get busy. We mostly just talk about the produce and what’s fresh this week. There’s no big secret to how we work. We show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. A lot of our customers have been coming to us since the first month. They know our names and we know theirs. It feels more like a community spot than just a business. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. It’s a simple life here in Jayanagar, and we quite like it that way.
