Kishor Transport is based out of Soumya Shree Nilaya on Sampige Road. We’re over in the Venkataswamy Layout area, specifically M S Nagar. If you’re looking for us, we’re at 445/1. Our day usually starts really early, way before the sun comes up, because that’s when the transport business really moves. There are always trucks to track and drivers to talk to. The office is a bit cluttered with logbooks and delivery receipts, and the phone doesn’t really stop ringing once the morning gets going. It’s a noisy business, but we like it that way. Being in Bangalore-560033 means we are right in the middle of a lot of movement. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything. It’s mostly just desks and people drinking tea while they look at schedules. Sometimes deliveries get delayed because of the road conditions or some other trouble, and then it’s a scramble to get things back on track. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we know most of the routes by heart. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for long. We’re always checking on something or another. It’s just us, a few computers, and a lot of logistics to manage every single day. We keep it simple and just focus on moving things from one place to another without any unnecessary drama.
