We are Kirana Solar Water Heating Systems, and our place is at 5 Ramaswamy Palya on Susheela Road. If you are heading towards Lalbagh, you are in the right general direction. It’s a fairly old part of the city, and our shop fits right in with the surrounding buildings. We’ve been working with solar water heaters for a long time now. The workspace is a bit cramped because those heating tanks take up a lot of room, and we always seem to have a few extra parts leaning against the walls. It’s a bit dusty, and the floor is usually covered in some scraps from the latest job, but that’s just part of the trade. We aren't the type of people to sit behind desks all day. Most of the time, we are out in the sun, hauling equipment onto rooftops or fixing a leak in an old system. We know the streets around here like the back of our hands. On a typical day, we start early to beat the heat, and by the afternoon, we are back at the shop cleaning up tools. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing plans. We just know how to make solar heaters work and that’s what we do for the people around here. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet and connected to the local community in a way that feels right to us.
