Kiona Software Solutions is based at 73, 15th Cross on the 6th Main Road in Lakkasandra, Bangalore. Lakkasandra is an interesting part of the city with a lot of narrow streets and little shops everywhere. Our building is tucked away on the 15th Cross, which is a bit quieter than the main roads. It is a multi-story building and we have our section set up with all the usual office gear. The furniture is nothing special, just some functional tables and chairs we have had for a long time. We have a small area near the entrance where people can leave their shoes. Inside, the floors are usually kept pretty clean. There are about ten of us working here on a regular basis. We have a small fridge for our drinks and a kettle for making coffee in the mornings. The atmosphere is generally pretty relaxed, though we do get busy when there is a deadline coming up. You can hear the neighborhood kids playing outside sometimes in the evenings. We have been in this location for a while now and we know the other people in the building quite well. It is a comfortable spot for us and it does not feel too much like a formal workplace. We just come in, do what we need to do, and go home. It is a simple life for us here in Lakkasandra.
