Kingfisher Airlines

Our office is tucked away at number 73, Jailakshmi Nilaya, right on the 3rd Cross of Bazaar Street. If you know the area, you know we are right behind the Tin Factory in Udaya Nagar. Bangalore traffic can be a real headache around here, so we usually hear the horns honking all day long while we work. This isn't one of those shiny airport offices you see in the movies. It’s just a regular building where we handle the day-to-day stuff for the airline. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about their flights and trying to sort out ticket issues. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we end up chatting about our weekends while the pages load. We have a small team here, and we’ve all been together for quite a while. We know the local tea stall guy pretty well. He brings us rounds of chai when things get too busy in the afternoons. It’s a noisy street, especially on market days, but you get used to it. We just keep our heads down and try to get the work done so people can get to where they’re going. It’s nothing fancy, just us in a small room with a lot of files and some old computers. We’ve been in this part of Bangalore for a long time now and we like the neighborhood vibe despite the chaos outside.
