Kingfisher Airlines

Our office is tucked away on the second floor of K K Residency, which is A4 in Vinayaka Nagar. It’s right behind the Rajeshsri Theater and not far from the old HAL Airport Road in Bangalore. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people moving through all the time. Since we’re on the second floor, we get a bit of a break from the street-level noise, but you can still hear the theater crowds sometimes. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few rows of desks and some old filing cabinets that have been here forever. We don’t have any fancy decorations or lounge areas. It’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and the logistics that come with running things. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit moody, so we end up taking the stairs more often than not. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking flight details on the screens. It’s not a glamorous setup, despite what people might think of the airline industry. We’re just regular people working in a regular office space. Usually, we just grab some food from the vendors downstairs when we have a break. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we manage just fine. We don’t go for anything fancy or complicated, we just focus on the tasks at hand and getting through the work day as best as we can.
