Kingfisher Airlines

This office is tucked away inside Sector 4 of the HMT Township in Jalahalli. It is a much quieter part of Bangalore compared to the city center. We do the work for the airline from here. It is mostly a lot of computer tasks and filing away paperwork. Most of us in the office have worked here for a long time. The building is an older style and it can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We usually take our tea breaks together near the main gate. Sometimes the power goes out but we have a generator that kicks in eventually. It is not like those shiny offices you see at the airport. It is just a practical place where we handle the back-end logistics for the company. We try to keep the files organized. The phones ring quite a bit throughout the day. There is a lot to keep track of when it comes to flights and timings. You just get used to the daily routine. We see the same security guards and tea sellers every morning. It feels like a small community even though it is a big company name on the door. Just regular office life in Jalahalli. We have a few fans that make a lot of noise but they keep us cool enough. We just come in, do our shifts, and head home to our families.
